Spanish Minor
The Spanish minor is housed in the Department of Literature and consists 7 courses in Spanish and can include AP credit. There are courses on a variety of topics relating to the Spanish speaking world, including literature, culture, social movements, society, and language.
Spanish Major
The Spanish major is housed in the Department of Literature and consists of 12 courses with 9-12 courses in Spanish. There are courses on a variety of topics relating to the Spanish speaking world, including literature, culture, social movements, society, and language.
Graduate Program
The PhD in Literature offers a specialization in Literature in Spanish. This concentration provides rigorous training in the historical, theoretical, multilingual, and transnational study of cultural production in Spanish-speaking regions and its vital role in world literatures.
